This step is especially important in apple-based cupcakes, where the natural moisture from the fruit can sometimes make the texture denser. The warmth of the tea enhances the batter, ensuring a light, delicate, and perfectly moist cupcake.

These cupcakes are delicious on their own, but if you’d like to add an extra layer of flavor, you can top them with ganache. My Tea-Flavored Ganache or any fruit-infused ganache makes a wonderful complement.
