Norwegian Success Tart is another one of the Norwegian cake classics. Its status as a classic is truly well-deserved!
In Norway, we call this cake “Suksess Kake” which means success Cake.
The heavenly combination of a gooey almond meringue cake layer, topped with a creamy, dreamy custard buttercream made with lots of egg yolks, vanilla, sugar, and cream. It´s no wonder it´s called Success Cake.
The whipped custard frosting is like custard meets a cloud, which is just too dreamy not to make.
This cake is wonderfully gluten-free, too, so anyone can enjoy it.
It is a sweet treat. A little piece goes a long way.
