Strawberries and passion fruit are such a great match, and this strawberry passion fruit jam is so fresh in taste—just bursting with flavor and brightness.

In Scandinavia, when we make jam, we don’t rely on a lot of sugar. We let the natural juices and sweetness of the strawberries and passion fruit shine—and that’s exactly what makes this jam so special. 

The passion fruit takes the flavor to the next level, adding a beautiful tang that balances the sweetness perfectly.

I use a touch of cornstarch to thicken it, creating a smooth, luscious texture that makes it perfect for filling a vanilla sponge cake, spreading inside a vanilla roll cake, or simply enjoying at breakfast.

As always, you can use frozen strawberries, which are often harvested at peak ripeness and can give you just as much flavor as fresh ones. But if you have ruby-red, in-season strawberries, they’ll take this jam to the next level.

And if you want that fresh strawberry goodness in the winter? Freeze your berries when they’re in season, so you can enjoy this jam any time of year.
