
Say hello to the Swedish Kärleksmums Cupcake!
In Sweden, there’s a beloved cake called kärleksmums—the name literally means love yumminess. This version is made as soft and tender cupcakes, and they’re truly something special.
The batter is made with Greek yogurt, which adds just the right acidity to tenderize the gluten in the flour—keeping the cupcakes moist and fluffy for up to five days. After baking, the tops are dipped into a warm chocolate icing that sets into the most beautiful, glossy finish.

Traditionally, kärleksmums are topped with shredded coconut, and this version keeps that classic touch. Rich chocolate, silky icing, and a sprinkle of coconut—the combination of these two is just hands down one of my all-time favorite ways to enjoy a cupcake.
